Good for the planet. Good for business.
In a world that’s becoming increasingly eco-conscious, more and more companies are making sustainability a key part of their business practices. VMC Group is proud to be the first company in Canada to offer custom-built, hybrid and portable exhibits made with environmentally-friendly materials.
Aluminum extrusions. Lightweight and reconfigurable, these strong and attractive components are made with 77% recycled aluminum.
Bamboo plywood. Bamboo is a rapidly renewable resource; since it’s a grass, not a tree, it matures in about three to five years. All adhesives in the plywood are emission-free.
Sorghum board. Manufactured from reclaimed agricultural fiber that would otherwise be burned or go into landfill, it diverts waste and gives rural farmers a new source of revenue.
Stains and finishes. All our eco-friendly finishes are water-based, and either low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) or VOC-free for minimal environmental impact.
Shipping cases. Durable cases are rotationally molded from recycled plastics and are completely recyclable.
Green carpets. Carpet tiles are made from 100% biodegradable polymer fibers.
Eco-Fi. This high-quality, Velcro-compatible fiber is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles.
LED lighting. We use lights that last ten times longer and are four times more efficient than traditional incandescent bulbs.
Sustainable substrates. We offer a variety of innovative, eco-friendly materials including :
- Eco-flex – used as an acoustical membrane in our panel systems, it’s made from cork, a rapidly renewable material.
- ReNew – made from eucalyptus, this substrate is used in panels and infill areas.
- Eco-Glass – a plexiglass alternative made from recycled plastic bottles. Available in frosted, clear or black.
